ormal is designed to be a minimalist calendar for macOS, providing date information at a quick glance. It does not show appointments, it does not have alerts, and it’s not social.
Quick navigation
Moving around in ormal is easy and flexible.
- Click the arrow icons or the arrow keys on your keyboard to move month by month
- Hold
Shift
to move week by week - Click the month name or press
Shift+T
to return to today - Use your mouse to visually highlight a specific date
- Press
Escape
to close the menu - Return to today when closing the calendar if you’d like via the settings area
Control your weekends
Weekends can be dimmed if you prefer to focus on the weekdays. You can find this in the settings area.
Share dates
Need to share a date with someone? Click on a day in the calendar to copy it to your clipboard. In the settings area you can choose the format that gets copied.
Open anywhere
Optionally use a keyboard shortcut of your choosing to open and close the menu, regardless of which application you’re using.
Always available
You can have ormal always open on login in the settings area.

Can I sync to a calendar?
No, syncing will never be added to ormal.
Can I add appointments?
No, appointments will never be added to ormal.

Privacy
ormal will never collect any data that can identify you. It does not require an account, will never log your information, and will only send reports through Apple.
